"Ancestors - 1892"

The little girl holding her doll is my grandmother, Dollie Scott.  The picture
taken in 1892 near Princeton, Missouri shows part of the family just after
they had returned to the area after having attempted homesteading in
Kansas.  Living in a sod house and listening to the ceaseless blowing of the
wind proved too difficult, and they returned to this “luxurious” location.
All I can gratefully say is, “I come from tough stock”.
